Highway 14 has reopened between Sooke and Port Renfrew after being shut down on the weekend for downed trees.
The nearly 65 kilometre stretch of road was closed Sunday and the transportation ministry worked with BC Hydro to remove trees that had fallen onto the highway and on power lines.

Access to Greater Victoria from Port Renfrew and west of Jordan River was limited to the Pacific Marine Circle route.
Drivers are advised to expect winter driving conditions on Highway 14 and are asked slow down and drive with caution.
