Security camera footage captured two people breaking into the Red Barn Market.

Red Barn Market is hoping people will come forward with information after having thousands of dollars worth of product stolen.

The Matticks Farm location, at 5325 Cordova Bay Rd., was broken into overnight on Nov. 2, according to a Facebook post.

“As a small local business, we try hard to support our wonderful community, and events like this hurt us all,” Red Barn Market says in the post.

Saanich Police tells CHEK News it is investigating a break-and-enter at the grocer.

“We realize the impact that this crime will have on the Red Barn.  We are continuing to investigate and gather evidence in the hopes of identifying the individuals,” stated Sgt. Damian Kowalewich.

Anyone with information is asked to report it to Saanich Police or anonymously to Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

CHEK News has reached out to Red Barn Market for more information, this story will be updated when a response is received.
