Nanaimo RCMP say they have arrested one teenager near the Country Club Centre after a vehicle window was shot out and a car dealership’s window was shattered.
At around 1:20 p.m., police said a teen had been arrested he allegedly shot a BB gun at vehicles and the Mercedes-Benz dealership on Kenworth Road.
Shortly after, officers found a “black handgun style” BB gun in the suspect’s backpack. Officers had previously been searching the E&N trail for the BB gun.

According to police, the suspect is 13 or 14-years-old. Police said there are no further public safety issues related to the incident. No injuries were reported.
