Family says 16-year-old Abby Barker died following a suspected overdose
Family and friends in Langford are mourning the death of a 16-year-old, who died following a possible overdose.
West Shore RCMP say on August 8 they responded to a report of a deceased teenage girl. The B.C. Coroners Service was also called to the scene and is investigating the death.
She has been identified online as Abby Barker, who passed following what family says was a possible overdose.
The cause of her death has not been released by authorities, but the West Shore RCMP says it does not appear suspicious.
Condolences are flooding in to family members online.
