Fire in a wood pile at Parksville facility is contained: Errington Fire Dept
Crews from Errington, Coombs and Parksville have contained a fire burning in a wood pile at an industrial facility in Parksville on Tuesday morning.
Errington Fire Department says they were called to DBL Landscape Supply on Church Road.
The fire sent thick clouds of white smoke into the skies above the area and could be seen for kilometers around.
At 8:30 a.m., they reported that the fire had been contained.
At 9:30 a.m., they posted another update on Facebook “There is a lot of smoke coming from the fire at DBL and hanging around Little Mountain area.”
