Traffic is now moving in both directions as crews have cleaned up a tree that fell across the northbound lanes of the Trans Canada Highway Wednesday night.
West Shore RCMP says the tree fell across the road before 6 p.m. and also affected southbound lanes.

Police say two cars were hit by the tree, but there were no injuries.
There were detours in place and around 7:30 p.m., traffic was single-lane alternating every 15 minutes on the highway.
The tree has been cleared and traffic fully opened on the TCH shortly after 8 p.m.
