Stalled semi-truck backs up early southound Malahat commuters

Thursday morning is starting with gridlock for commuters taking the Trans Canada Highway into Greater Victoria.

A stalled semi-truck on the shoulder, near Ice Cream Mountain, is stacking up southbound traffic. Early morning traffic was backed up all the up to Aspen.

As of 8:40 a.m. the semi-truck has been cleared but drivers north of Goldstream are being warned to face longer delays than usual.
