Travellers in the Comox Valley now have another option to travel to Edmonton — Swoop Airlines.
The airline is launching a twice-weekly service from the Comox Valley to Edmonton route starting on June 9.
“We are delighted to welcome Swoop to YQQ, providing additional low-cost options for travel between Vancouver Island and Edmonton,” said Mike Atkins, CEO of the Comox Valley Airport in a news release.
“With the start of the busy summer leisure travel season right around the corner, the timing couldn’t be better to provide additional choice as people start flying again.”
The route will run on Thursdays and Sundays.
