Sunday Spotlight: Would you like a shorter work week?

CHEK

WATCH: A new poll from Angus Reid shows nearly half of all Canadians say a 30-hour work week would be better than the standard 40. And more than two-thirds of those who have to work 40 hours say they would rather do four ten-hour shifts instead of five. It’s something most people support across all age groups and interestingly, it’s more tied to political affiliation than age or gender. The majorities of both Liberal and NDP supporters favour the idea, while just one-in-three Conservatives say the same.

So what would a shorter work week mean for you? We asked an expert.
