Strong opening day carries Canada’s men’s rugby sevens squad to a seventh place finish in London

The Canadian men had big wins over Argentina and Japan on the first day of the London Sevens, finishing with a 2-1 record and advancing to the quarterfinals for just the second time this series. They placed seventh on the weekend and are moving in the right direction as they prepare for the Olympic qualifying tournament this summer.
