A search of a home in Colwood turned up stolen guns and identification for officers to seize last week.
West Shore RCMP says its Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant investigating identity fraud in the 800-block of Cecil Blogg Drive on Dec. 3.
Officers seized stolen identification belonging to several individuals, along with two stolen firearms.
The guns taken into police custody include a stolen bolt action rifle and break action shotgun.
Police say a number of drugs and drug paraphernalia were also taken by officers.
“Any time police can take a stolen firearm off the street is important for the safety and well being of our community,” West Shore RCMP Crime Reduction Unit Cst. Matt Rowat said in a statement.
West Shore RCMP says the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
