Victoria police are investigating after a cab rolled over on the 700-block of Esquimalt Road early Saturday morning.

The accident was just before 3 a.m., and police say it appears the vehicle rode up the median before rolling over.

The cab also crashed into other parked cars and damaged trees.

They believe speed is a contributing factor, but say thankfully there were no serious injuries.

There were three occupants in the vehicle.

B.C. Ambulance says they transported two patients from the scene in stable condition.

The taxi belonged to BlueBird Cabs. A witness says the road was blocked off until about 4 a.m.

When asked about the accident BlueBird Cabs Ltd. told CHEK News they have no comment at this time.
