Vehicles are seen backed up on Sooke Road in Metchosin after a single-vehicle crash
A single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon led to delays on Sooke Road.
The crash was reported by Drive BC at 4 p.m. Drive BC also said the collision happened between Humpback Road and Kangaroo Road in Metchosin.
Metchosin Fire Chief Stephanie Dunlop then tweeted at 4:25 p.m. that a single-vehicle crash had occurred in the 4000 block of Sooke Road. According to Dunlop, a vehicle went off the road and the driver had to be freed. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The right lane in the area was closed but reopened just before 5:15 p.m.
