The ridge of high pressure that brought clear skies and high temperatures has now broken down, and that will allow a series of weak systems to cross the south coast.
Most of the Island can expect a 30 per cent chance of showers tomorrow, and a 40 per cent chance Friday, with mainly cloudy skies Saturday and Sunday, then another system crossing the region on the B.C. Day Monday, bringing a 40 per cent chance of showers.
As the system is coming from the north, the southern tip of the Island and Greater Victoria will see mainly cloudy skies tomorrow, and a 30 per cent chance of showers Friday.
