WATCH: The Maple Ridge Burrards took down the Victoria Shamrocks by a score of 9-8 in Game Two of their WLA Final series on Sunday night.

Burrards star Curtis Dickson got things going early for Maple Ridge, beating Adam Shute for the early lead. The Shamrocks would find a spark and wind up heading into the dressing room for the first intermission tied at 3 a piece. The Burrards would pull away in the second period, thanks to two shorthanded goals and a beauty from Maple Ridge rookie Jean-Luc Chetner. Maple Ridge held a 6-4 lead after two periods of play. In the third, the Shamrocks clawed their way back into the game. Chris Wardle found a streaking Jesse King who beat Burrards netminder Frank Scigliano to knot the game at 7 in the late stages of the game. However, with five minutes remaining, Burrards forward Dan Taylor scored a beautiful behind-the-back goal to give Maple Ridge an 8-7 lead, and Dickson would complete his second hat-trick in as many games to give the Burrards a 9-7 lead with little time remaining. Victoria would score one, but Rob Hellyer was stopped by Scigliano in the dying seconds to secure the win for Maple Ridge, tying the series at 1-1.

Game three of this series goes Tuesday night at the Q Centre, opening face-off is set for 6:30.
