Driver allegedly injures officer then hits parked vehicle on Quadra Street in Victoria

Victoria police say an officer was injured and a parked car was hit after a driver fled Tuesday morning.

Oficers attempted to stop a vehicle just after 10:30 a.m. near the Cook Street and Pandora Avenue intersection.

The driver of the vehicle allegedly refused to stop and fled. Police said a VicPD officer received non-life threatening injuries.

The driver then allegedly hit a parked vehicle at Quadra and North Park streets a short time later.

Police said all occupants in the suspect vehicle were arrested after the crash, with one occupant being transported to hospital by paramedics.

Quadra Street was closed after the collision but reopened just before 12:30 p.m. Police are continuing to investigate.
