Dan Lockhart, 61, has been missing since Jan. 6.
Nootka Sound RCMP are appealing for help as they continue to search for a 61-year-old Gold River man who has not been seen in over a month.
Police received a tip Dan Lockhart was seen during the week of Jan. 12 in downtown Victoria.
RCMP say he is familiar with the Victoria area and has spent time there in the past.
Lockhart was last seen Jan. 6 in Gold River at around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Scout Lake Road and Burman Court, adding he appeared disoriented at the time.
Police say they are very concerned about Lockhart’s well-being and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call local authorities.
