Salt Spring RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person.

Sinnika Gay Elliot was reported missing May 12 at 2:15 p.m. after police say she went out to do some errands. She hasn’t been seen since according to police.

Search and Rescue crews began searching for Elliot at around 9:30 p.m. according to police. Authorities say that her vehicle was found on Juniper Place Road but Elliot was nowhere to be found.

Police and her family say they’re concerned for her well-being.

Elliot is described as being 5’3″ with a slim build and short, brown hair. Police say she was wearing a red sweater, jeans and brown boots when she was last seen.

Police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Salt Spring RCMP at (250)-537 -5555.
