Saanich police are searching for a man who robbed a local 7-Eleven on Friday evening.
Police say the masked man walked into the 7-Eleven at Shelbourne Street and Feltham Road around 6:15 p.m. and produced a note demanding cash.
The man did not pull out any weapons, but was handed an undisclosed amount of money. He then fled the scene.
Surveillance photos from inside the store captured photos of the suspect.
He’s described as white man who stands approximately 5’8” with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black hat, a black puffy vest with a small white logo on the back in between the shoulder blades – beige and green pants, and black and white Vans skateboard shoes.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.

“Our Forensic Identification Section were also called out to the scene to gather evidence,” said Saanich Police Sgt. Damien Kowalewich. “If anyone has information in regard to this crime, please contact us.”
