Saanich police are hoping someone can identify a man who was found out in the cold.

The man has no ID and is unable to remember his address or loved ones “due to memory issues,” according to Saanich police in a post on X (formerly Twitter) Sunday afternoon.

They say the man was found in the 1600 block of Kenmore Road, off Shelbourne Street, suffering from the effects of cold weather.

It’s believed the man speaks Cantonese, according to police, who are also thanking paramedics from BC Ambulance Service for providing him with care.

“Please help us ID this male and get him home,” added police.

Saanich police can be reached at 250-475-4321.
