The sun is out and it’s a nice day to go for a drive but Saanich police are reminding drivers to watch their speed.
In a post to their Twitter, Saanich PD says they have impounded a white Chevrolet Corvette that was going 100 km an hour in a 50 zone near the Uptown Shopping Centre.
“Nice day for a nice ride in a nice car,” the tweet from police reads. “Just remember to watch your speed.”

More than one in every four fatal crashes on the province’s roads involve distracted driving, according to ICBC.
