Royals defence stumbles in loss to Chiefs

CHEK

WATCH: The Victoria Royals were defeated 7-2 by the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday night at the Save on Foods Memorial Centre, as the Royals hosted Canadian Forces Appreciation Night.

The Royals simply couldn’t contain the fast-paced Spokane offence on this occasion, as Victoria netminder Griffen Outhouse allowed five goals for the second consecutive game, a rare occurrence in the 20-year-old’s career with the Royals.

The Royals will now wait til Saturday to attempt to get back into the win column, as they host the Regina Pats before hitting the road for a date with the Vancouver Giants.
