WATCH: The Victoria Royals welcomed Tanner Kaspick & Lane Zablocki to the team this morning, as both players took their first skate with the team.
Kaspick, who came from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for two first round picks, brings WHL Championship experience, and will look to recreate that success with his new club.
Zablocki, who was dealt from Lethbridge at the Trade Deadline, arrived in Victoria yesterday after driving all the way from Alberta. The 3rd round pick of the Detroit Red Wings will bring both scoring and grit to the line-up, on a Royals team that is looking to contend with the WHL’s best down the stretch.
The Royals host the Blazers tonight and tomorrow night at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre.
