The Victoria Royals have clinched a playoff spot for the 6th straight season after last night’s victory over the Spokane Chiefs 4-3 in overtime. Matthew Phillips scored the winner for the Royals on his second goal of the game and his 46th of the year. Griffen Outhouse was lights out in the victory making 37 saves. Victoria’s next game is Tuesday against the Rockets in Kelowna.
