Rob Shaw: B.C.’s emergency alert system is ready for use

The B.C. Government took political heat last year during the heat dome, and then during the winter flood, for being the only province in Canada not to use the broadcast emergency alert system called Alert Ready.

While the province says the system is ready now, it’s just not quite hot enough to use it yet.
