With a stretch of hot weather in the forecast, the town of Comox parks department is offering up some relief from the heat.

It announced the water was being turned on at the new Marina Park Splash Pad at noon on Friday, a week ahead of schedule.

“It’s a great opportunity for kids and families to get outdoors and play in the Town’s newly installed Splash Pad,” said Al Fraser, Park Superintendent.

The water will be on from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
