West Shore RCMP say medication that a senior thought had mistakenly been handed out to trick-or-treaters has been found elsewhere in the home.

On Halloween, the senior had called police saying they were worried they had accidentally handed our some of their Parksinson’s medication when trick-or-treaters came to the door.

Around noon on Nov. 1, police say the medication was found in a different area of the home and is not believed to have been handed out.

“We thank the public for their understanding. This was a concerning situation where we notified the public due to the initial belief the medication had been handed out mistakenly during Halloween,” said Cpl. Nancy Saggar, West Shore RCMP media relations officer.
