Mounties are hoping the public can provide them with information about an assault that took place earlier this month on northern Vancouver Island.
According to a press release from the Port Hardy RCMP, two people were assaulted near the Quarter Deck Inn at around 9:45 p.m. on Sept. 3.
There were no additional details about the assault provided, but RCMP say the two victims suffered minor injuries.
They also say the victims were unable to provide detailed suspect descriptions.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Port Hardy RCMP at 250-949-6335 and reference file 2021-2925.
