The Campbell River RCMP is seeking the public's assistance identifying two individuals seen stealing from boats at Fisherman's Wharf.

The Campbell River RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two individuals seen stealing from boats at Fisherman’s Wharf.

According to a police report, two “dock pirates” were caught on video surveillance stealing from vessels in the early hours of October 6.

The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. and police have yet to be able to identify the two men.

“While they were up to their thieving ways the two men also engaged in mischief by cutting lines,” reads a statement from RCMP.

Police have indicated the man, pictured above, is a Caucasian male between the ages of 20-30.

Police say the age and ethnicity of this masked man is unknown.

Anyone with information that could lead to the identity of the men in the photos is being asked to contact the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221 and reference File#20-12995.
