Police are looking for 50-year-old Sheldon Hinton, who is wanted for aggravated assault.
RCMP say they are looking for a violent offender who could be in Nanaimo.
Police say 50-year-old Sheldon Hinton is wanted for aggravated assault. A warrant for Hinton was issued in Alberta and has been extended to B.C. Police believe Hinton is in central Vancouver Island and possibly in Nanaimo.
According to police, Hinton has an extensive history involving violence and has trained as a boxer. Hinton is described by police as a non-white man, 6’3,” 250 pounds and bald.
He is considered violent and dangerous. Anyone who sees Hinton is asked to not approach him and call 911. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
