One of our stops was Port Alberni, which is hosting a huge event this weekend.
The 35th Annual Port Alberni Toy Run will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14 and 15, in Port Alberni, when more than 1,000 motorcycles will travel from Little Qualicum Falls along Highway 4 into Port Alberni, their bikes filled with toys for the children, and cash for charities.
Since 1984, the Toy Run has raised almost $2 million for local children’s charities.
