RCMP say an 83-year-old man who was reported missing out of Port Alberni on Wednesday has been found dead.
On Wednesday, RCMP said they were on the lookout for the man, who had dementia.
On Saturday, RCMP confirmed he had been located deceased.
“The RCMP offers its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” said the Port Alberni RCMP in a statement.
“No further information will be provided at this time.”
