Police seek suspect who stole a cash register and jewelry in Oak Bay

Police in Oak Bay are trying to track down a suspect who allegedly stole a cash register and jewelry from a small business.

According to Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers, someone broke into a small business located in the 2000-block of Oak Bay Ave. in the early morning hours of June 2.

They say the suspect, believed to be a female, proceeded to steal a red cash register that contained $138 in cash, and some jewelry.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie with white stripes down the arm, black pants with white stripes down both sides, a black mask, and black shoes. They were also carrying a light blue bag.
