Police searching for suspect after man allegedly held at knife point in Duncan

Duncan RCMP are searching for one suspect after an alleged knife attack on June 15.

Police said at around 11:30 p.m. near Cairnsmore and Cavell Streets, a 30-year-old man was confronted by a suspect who accused the man of assaulting him before attacking the man with a knife.

According to police, the man fought off the attack but was cut in the hand.

The suspect is described as First Nations, in his early 20s, with a very round face, 5’6″-5’8,” and 150 pounds. He has shaggy shoulder-length dark hair and was wearing a dark blue or grey jacket and a flat brimmed hat, flipped up.
