UPDATE: Victoria Police have located Copper, the dog is being reunited with his owner by the City of Victoria’s Animal Control.

Victoria police are asking the public to help them find a seven-year-old dog named Copper who was reportedly stolen in November.

According to police, the chihuahua/terrier cross was allegedly taken on Nov. 24 in the 900-block of Yates Street between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. The incident was reported to police on Nov. 30.

Police said the dog has a small scar above his left eye and sore left rear foot.

Anyone who has information on Copper’s whereabouts or knows who possibly took him is asked to call VicPD at 250-995-7654 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
