Police appeal for witnesses following stabbing at Beacon Hill Park

Police said one man was stabbed at Beacon Hill Park on May 14, 2018.

Police are appealing for any witnesses after a man was stabbed at Beacon Hill Park early Monday morning.

Officers were called to the park shortly after 1 a.m. for a report of an attempted robbery. According to police, a man was approached by two women who allegedly attempted to steal his wallet. He was then stabbed.

The man was able to get away and seek medical attention.

Major Crime detectives have taken over the investigation.
