The dog days of summer are coming to Greater Victoria this weekend.
The Pet-A-Palooza “Day of The Dog” event kicks off at Bullen Park in Esquimalt on Saturday and will continue through Sunday.
Admission is free, and there will be a range of pet-friendly events, including a photo booth, dog races and vendors.
There will also be free swag, like sample treats, accessories and toys.
Each day, there will be three puppy and yoga classes that cost $20 each, with proceeds going to the Victoria Humane Society.
Pet-a-palooza describes itself as the largest outdoor pet festival on the west coast of North America.
It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
