Outer Gulf Island RCMP says the suspect in a lumber arson on Pender Island has been identified.
A woman was accused of breaking into the local Home Hardware and setting fire to a lumber storage area on Oct. 9. Damages were estimated at $10,000.
The investigators determined she had taken a ferry from Swartz Bay to Pender Island on Oct. 8.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
