WATCH: Pacific FC training camp is well underway at PISE in Victoria, as the team gets set for their home opener on April 28th at Westhills Stadium against the Halifax Wanderers.
The team is preparing to play their inaugural season without the services of star defender Marcel De Jong, who ruptured his Achilles tendon during practice late last week, and has been determined to be out for the season. It’s a big role to fill, but PFC believes their young players will step up on the back end and soldier on without the former Whitecaps defender. De Jong’s leadership won’t be missed as the 32-year-old plans to still be around the team during his recovery.
