Overnight warming centres in Victoria to operate due to cold weather

The James Bay United Church and Rock Bay Landing warming centres will be open Saturday night due to forecast cold weather.

The City of Victoria announced the opening of the shelters on Twitter.

.@VicCoolAid will also be operating an overnight shelter at Rock Bay Landing, 535 Ellice Street from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. – please phone ahead to reserve a mat: 250-383-1951.

The James Bay United Church at 511 Michigan Street will open at 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Dec. 4. Well behaved pets are permitted at this shelter, and it is wheelchair accessible.
