Mount Washington Alpine Resort has announced that it is delaying its opening day due to recent weather.
The opening day was set for Dec. 7 but in a Facebook post, the resort said it needed a few more storms to come through before they start the lifts. The resort also said there are approximately 10 centimetres at the top of the runs.
“The good news is temperatures at the resort are cold, we’re making snow in the base area and there is snow in the forecast beginning this coming weekend,” the resort wrote.
The resort did not provide a new opening date but said it will keep everyone up-to-date on the revised schedule and weather developments.
