One pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a car Saturday night.
Colwood Fire says they responded around 10:20 p.m. to Sooke and Kelly Road, and arrived to find the person hit was conscious.
An off-duty nurse was also on the scene providing first aid.
The person was taken to hospital, their current condition is unknown.
The driver of the vehicle involved stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
“Drivers should be diligent as it is dark out in the evening hours, and pedestrians [should try to be] wearing visible clothing,” advised Colwood assistant fire Chief Greg Chow.
