One 20-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle collision in Port Alberni Saturday evening.
RCMP say they responded around 10:20 p.m. after a Ford F250 pickup truck went off a logging road and rolled into a ditch
The truck was traveling westbound down Stirling Arm Road with three occupants inside when it entered a gradual left turn and went off the road. The two other occupants in the vehicle received minor injuries, while the third occupant died on the scene.
The deceased man is from the Port Alberni area.
Port Alberni RCMP, The B.C. Coroners Service and the RCMP Collision Analyst are are investigating the incident.
