Police in Oak Bay are searching for a suspect who reportedly stole some ice cream bars.
According to the Oak Bay Police Department, a man broke into a Dairy Queen on Cadboro Bay Road at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning and stole ice cream bars.
“We want to talk to this break and enter artist who has a sweet tooth and stole ice cream bars,” Oak Bay PD said on social media Monday.
Although the department did not provide a description of the suspect, they did release a still photo from security footage showing a Caucasian male with glasses and facial hair.
Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact Oak Bay PD at 250-592-2424.
