Police in Victoria are looking to speak with anyone who saw a vehicle crash into an apartment building over the weekend.

Sometime before 8 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle crashed into an apartment building on the corner of Fort Street and Lee Avenue.

The vehicle ended up completely inside a suite and the occupant of the suite had left the room moments before the crash, according to the Victoria Police Department.

Despite significant damage, neither the driver, the occupant or anyone else were physically injured as a result of the crash.

VicPD says the cause of the crash is under investigation but that impairment does not appear to be a factor.

They are, however, asking anyone who saw the crash to contact them at 250-995-7654 extension 1.
