No injuries reported following early morning fire at Strawberry Vale Elementary

Firefighters in Saanich were busy this morning.

At around 6:45 a.m. Saturday, crews with the Saanich Fire Department responded to a fire at Strawberry Vale Elementary in the 4100-block of Rosedale Ave.

In a post on social media, Saanich Fire Department said there was extensive damage to the roof area of the school and that there were no injuries reported.

Saanich Fire Department told CHEK that they would not provide further comment on the blaze, only saying that an investigation is ongoing.
