A new, 18-storey residence featuring a rooftop pool — higher up than most mountains — will be coming to Langford in the next few years.
One Bear Mountain, being built and put together by Ontario-based 360 Pacifica and Terracap, will be located at 2000 Hannington Road along the 18th fairway of the Nicklaus Design Mountain Golf Course.
The residence will be branded an “ultra recreational living” facility and have 209 one-, two- and three-bedroom unit options, each ranging between $350,000 and over $2 million.
According to One Bear Mountain, the living area is designed to balance working from home and having many recreational pursuits. They’re advertising the proximity of the resort to 55 km of biking trails and is 20 minutes from downtown Victoria via a new highway.
Also included in the new development will be a lounge on the 16th floor, a lobby on the sixth floor designed to be an event space, private storage for bikes, golf clubs and tennis rackets, and a heated rooftop pool.
One Bear Mountain says the pool is the only one of its kind in Greater Victoria. They also say the building will be the first all concrete and steel condominium in over 15 years.
Presentations for the facility are set to begin in July while sales are set to begin in the fall of 2021.
