Nanaimo RCMP released this photo of a male Friday morning who allegedly used a stolen credit card for hundreds of dollars of fraudulent transactions in Nanaimo June 23.

Nanaimo RCMP is seeking the public’s help to identify a male allegedly responsible for using a stolen credit card at a minimum of five different businesses in the city.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect Friday morning.

The incidents happened on June 23 and the credit card that was used had been stolen from a parked vehicle.

Nanaimo RCMP says several hundreds of dollars in fraudulent transactions were charged to the card before it was cancelled by the owner.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or Crime Stoppers.
