Nanaimo RCMP are looking for a 29-year-old man who has not been heard from since Sunday.
Police said Joel Cumming, who is from Nanaimo, has been dealing with some significant personal issues, which has his family and friends extremely concerned for his personal safety. Friends, family and police have been unable to locate Cumming.
Cumming is described by police as a Caucasian man, 5’10” (179 cm), 170 pounds (77 kg) with blond hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be wearing a black hoodie with white lettering on the front, khaki-coloured pants and black shoes with white stripes. He may be carrying a green backpack.
