Police are searching a house in the 5000 block of Metral Drive.
Nanaimo RCMP say a residence on Metral Drive associated with drug trafficking and property-related offences is being searched.
At around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nanaimo RCMP Drug Unit officers, along with the Vancouver Island Emergency Response Team (ERT), entered the home in the 5000 block of Metral Drive.
Police said there no issues upon entry. Two women and one man was arrested and are in custody. No charges have been laid against the three arrested at this time.
The search is expected to continue into the evening. Police said they will release more details when the search is over.
